Joel A. Wloszczyna, age 35, of Mansfield passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Sarah L. (King) Wloszczyna to whom he was wed on June 18, 2005.
Born in Niagara Falls, New York on April 9, 1978, he was a loving son of Andrea M. Cole of New York and Christopher Wloszczyna and his wife Susan of Virginia.
Joel grew up and was educated in California, Nevada and Virginia. He received his bachelors of science degree in graphic animation at the New England Institute of Arts in Boston in 2008, where he was an active member of Sigraph.
A resident of Mansfield for the past eight years, Joel was a dedicated husband and loving father to his sons. He had worked at Bertucci’s at Mansfield Crossing.
Joel’s interests included art, creative writing and film making. He had also possessed a lifelong love for all types of electronics.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his cherished sons, Evan W. Wloszczyna, age 7 and Ryan G. Wloszczyna, age 4 both of Mansfield. He was the dear brother of Christian S. Wloszczyna and his wife Carolyn of Nevada, and is also survived by his grandmothers, Stella Menaguale of Florida and Rita Cole of New York, his nephew, Christian J. Wloszczyna of Ohio, his mother in law, Julie King and Dan Bradley of Rhode Island and his sister in law Bethany King of California.
Funeral services and burial were private.
Arrangements were under the care and direction of the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
