Angelina “Jean” (Thibault) Doucet, 95, of Hudson, NH, former long time resident of Waltham, died on Thursday, Aug. 22nd at the Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to the late Desire “Joe” Doucet who died in 1999.
Jean was born and raised in Church Point, Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Aucoin) Thibault. She resided in Waltham for many years and also Hollywood, FL for some time before spending the past 4 plus years in Hudson, NH.
Jean enjoyed the time she spent at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH. She especially looked forward to attending all the many social events at Fairview and also playing bingo games at Fairview. She loved spending time with her family and they will truly miss her.
She is survived by her two sons, Victor Doucet and his wife Donna of Hudson, MA and Alan Doucet and his wife Janet of Nashua, NH. She is also survived by her sister, Bertha Landry of Waltham; her five loving grandchildren, Victor, James, Michelle, Beth and Brian; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 24th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. A calling hour will be held from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. prior to the mass on Saturday, Aug. 24th at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
