Sharon Marie Gath of Natick passed away tragically at her home on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. She was only 35 years old and was a courageous and strong woman.
Born in Newton, Massachusetts on June 16, 1978, she was the cherished & devoted daughter of Donna G. Criswell & her husband George T. of Natick & the late Robert A. Gath. She was raised in Natick and a 1996 graduate of Natick High School. Sharon continued her education at Framingham State and earned a Bachelors Degree in Merchandising & Interior Design.
Sharon pursued her passion for interior design by working with an industry leader in the furniture business. Sharon later started her own business helping clients with designing and decorating their homes. She wanted to live life to the fullest and loved interior designing, spending time with her grandmother Doris, whom she adored, reading Stephen King novels, traveling with her grandfather John to Paris where they enjoyed creme brûlées, chocolate croissants, and shopping. She adored her dogs Chui & Sadie, following the Steel Wheels Band and loved keeping in touch with friends from her childhood.
Sharon loved spending holidays with family and friends, planning trips and adventures with friends such as Disney World and summers in Maine with Grandma and Grandpa.
She was the loving sister of Michael P. Gath of Framingham who adored Sharon. Granddaughter of the late John & Doris Belocas & the late Archie & Shirley Gath. Caring niece of George P. Belocas of Watertown, John R. Belocas, also of Watertown, Peter D. Belocas of Natick, William Gath & his wife Cindy of Natick & Patricia Moessinger & her husband John of TN. Cousin of Katrina A. Belocas of Uxbridge, Suzanne Gath of Natick & Steven Gath of CT. Also survived by many close loving friends.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Newton Cemetery, 791 Walnut St., Newton, MA on Wednesday, August 28th at 11:30AM with interment following. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 27th from 4:00-8:00PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common.
