Patricia C. Kelley, RN, 71, of Hawthorne Place, North Providence, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Helen G. (Stansfield) Miller.
At the age of 49, she decided to pursue her dream and received an associate’s degree in nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at East Gate Nursing in East Providence before retiring in 2010. She was an avid sports enthusiast, accomplished skier, and mother who loved gardening and baking for her grandchildren. She also loved spending weekends watching, and cheering for her grandchildren play little league baseball.
She is survived by her children: Lynne C. Izzo, of North Providence, Kimberley A. SanAntonio and her husband, Douglas, of Cranston and Dr. Stephen P. Kelley, Jr. and his wife, Allison Kelley, PhD. of St. Mary’s Island, Chatham, England, and her grandchildren: Ryan and Kristen Izzo, Amy Griswold, Nikolas and Jacob SanAntonio and Aidan and Caitlin Kelley.
Her funeral service will be held Monday at 11:30am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
