Richard A. “Gidget” Guyette, 59, of Medway, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his home after a brief illness.
Born in the Framingham on July 17, 1954, he was the son of the late Richard C. and Joan S. (Veyett) Guyette.
Mr. Guyette was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway high School in 1972. He attended Northeastern University for one year and later earned a certificate from Control Data Institute.
He had worked at Comcast for the past 5 years.
Mr. Guyette was a member of the Medway VFW Men’s Auxiliary. He was an avid sports fan and was a very caring and generous person.
He is survived by his wife Leslie A. (Ferris) Guyette, a daughter Tiffany Guyette of Worcester, a son Richard M. Guyette of Medway, two grandchildren, Dominik and Isaiah, a sister Deborah Monaghan of Franklin and a brother Scott Guyette of Medway.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) on Tuesday, August 27 at 11 a.m.
Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 9 – 11 a.m.
Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Medway at a later date.
