BOULGER John Roe “Jack” at the age of 70, of Norwood formerly of Co. Galway, Ireland. August 21, 2013. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (Kelly) for over 46 years. He was born in Co. Galway, Ireland on Dec. 18, 1942 to Jack and Theresa Boulger and emigrated to Boston in 1963. Starting as an electrician, he ran his own construction and development business for over 45 years, building residential projects throughout Boston and the surrounding areas. In addition to his wife, Jack leaves his sons, Sean and his wife Tany of Walpole, Christopher of Walpole and Daniel of South Boston and his daughter, Teresa Hamilton and her husband Joseph of South Boston. He is survived by 7 grandchildren, Jack and Eric Boulger, Charles and Abigail Boulger and Joseph, John and Teresa Hamilton. He was the dedicated brother to the late William and Robert Boulger, Mary Coyne and Caroline Coyne all of Co. Galway, George of Roslindale and Clifford of Norwood. He was a loving and devoted uncle to numerous nephews and nieces, including John, Robert and Gary Boulger, whom he thought of as his own sons after they followed in their uncle’s footsteps and emigrated from Galway to Norwood as young men and many great nephews and nieces, including Ciara, Lloyd, Kaitlin and Colleen Boulger of Canton and Robert, Kayla and Brendan Boulger of Walpole as well as many loyal and dear friends. Visiting hours from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY will be held on Friday, Aug. 23rd. from 4-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Catherine’s Church, 547 Washington St. Norwood at 10 o’clock on Saturday Aug. 24th. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
