CHICOPEE – Ronald R. Heck, 73, of the Fairview section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Monday, August 19, 2013. He passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on August 10, 1940, a son of the late Rene X. and Edna M. (Bombardier) Heck and was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. He was educated in local schools and furthered his education to become a licensed electrician. He was employed for many years by the IBEW Local 7 in Springfield. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Rene A. Heck who was Called Home on August 22, 1989. He leaves his loving companion, Mildred G. “Midge” (Lumbis) Richardson; his loving daughters, Suzanne L. Crosby and her husband, Stephen, and Michelle M. Cory; his cherished grandchildren, Brandon and Taylor Cory and Jacob Crosby; his step-daughter, Deborah A. Roldan and her husband, Roy; and their children, Jeromy and Roy, Jr. At his request, all services are private at the convenience of his family.
