Philip J. Leonardo, 66, of Westport, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Colleen (Amaral) Leonardo.
Born in Fall River and son of the late Antone and Mary (Abren) Leonardo, he was a long time resident of Westport. Prior to his retirement, he was co-owner of Leonardo Bros. Construction Company of Westport. Mr. Leonardo loved sports and was an avid Nascar fan.
Survivors along with his wife include his daughter Cherilyn L. Earle and her husband John Earle, Jr. of Westport; his son Philip J. Leonardo, Jr. of Fall River; his brother Richard Leonardo of VA; his sister Constance Fennelly and her husband Francis of Swansea; and his 4 grandchildren: Chelsie-Lynn, Jacob, Breanna and Brady.
He was the brother of the late Anthony and Robert Leonardo.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will be private.
