W. BOYLSTON-Irene P. (Plucinski) Pion, 81, formerly of W. Boylston died Saturday, September 4th in Blaire House Nursing Home. Her husband Leo F. Pion died in 1989. She leaves 2 brothers, Walter Plucinski of Worcester and Robert Plucinski of West Boylston and several nephews and nieces.
She was born in Paxton the daughter of Benjamin and Agnes (Warchol) Plucinski. Mrs. Pion was a graduate of Commerce High School as a Horace Mann Honors student. She had been employed for many years at the former Whitall Rug Company as secretary to Mr. Whitall. Mrs. Pion was a founding member of St. Christopher’s Church.
