Rena C. Kantianis, age 90, passed away on Aug. 17, 2013 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was a daughter of the late Christos and Constance (Courniotes) Kantianis. She was the owner of the RCK Shop, a women’s clothing store, for many years before she retired. She was a member of the St Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church; President of the Ladies Philoptohos Society; Secretary of the Church Council and a member of the Church Choir. She leaves her loving sister, Ann Kantianis of Chicopee and her nieces and nephews, Jeanne Kantianis, Meta and her husband Bluford Medlin, Candy Kantianis, Sandy Kirsatoulas and her husband Richard, Christopher Kantianis and his wife Jody, George Leocopoulos, Mark Kantianis and Chris Kantianis along with many other grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Harry, Leo and John Kantianis and also by 2 sisters, Demi Leocopoulos and Helen Rallis. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, P.O. Box 112, Chicopee, MA 01021
