Marie Antoinette Auger 82, of Smithfield, died August 9 in Smithfield Commons. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Rose Marie (Nault) Auger. She lived at Smithfield Commons enjoying her residential family and friends. She was known as a gentle woman with great strength and an angel to all who loved her and cared for her.
She was the sister of the late Paul Auger, Rachel Auger, Therese Lebrun, and Muriel Desilets. She had ten nieces and nephews and thirteen great nieces and nephews. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00AM in St. Eugene’s Church 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI. The family will receive guests in the rear of the church beginning at 9:30. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
