Obituary

SPENCER: Raymond G. Lavallee 53, of Wilson St., died Saturday Aug. 17 at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

He leaves his wife of 5 years, Suzanne M. (Gadbois) Lavallee, two sons Joseph E. Lavallee and his fiancé Michelle Harris of E.Brookfield, and Raymond Lavallee of Tenn., his father Robert J. Lavallee, Sr. of Spencer, two stepsons Michael Natale of E.Brookfield and Brian Natale of No.Brookfield, a step daughter Mandy Spence and her husband Dale of Spencer, four brothers Robert J. Lavallee, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Grafton, Richard A. Lavallee, Ronald M. Lavallee and his wife Cheryl, and Rene D. Lavallee all of Spencer, three grandchildren Lillian Lavallee, Joel and Madison Natale, and many nieces and nephews.

Ray was a laminator at Flexcon Co. in Spencer for 30 years, retiring in 2008. He previously worked at the former King’s Supermarket in Spencer.

Born in Spencer he was the son of the late Barbara T. (Maynard) Lavallee. He later graduated from David Prouty High School in 1978. He enjoyed classic cars, driving his “old tractor”, playing cribbage, fishing, watching wildlife and spending time with his family.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 21 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 4 to 7p.m. in the funeral home.
