Obituary

Peter W. Daley, 35, of Franklin died August 17 in his home following a long illness.
Born in Norwood, December 7, 1977, the son of Stephen P. and Nancy J. (Moir) Daley of Franklin, he was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Mr. Daley was a 1996 graduate of Franklin High School.
Peter had served in the United States Coast Guard for the past 13 years retiring last December due to his health as an operation Specialist First Class (OS1).
He was an avid sports fan who loved the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
In addition to his parents, his survived by his brother Stephen P. Daley, Jr. of Franklin and his sister Elizabeth DeLisle of Franklin.
He is also survived by his beloved nephews Carter and Alex DeLisle, and many other loving family members and friends.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, August 22 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street in Franklin at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
