Charles W. Quigley
formerly of Lowell
HAVERHILL: Charles W. Quigley, age 66, of Haverhill, formerly of the Centerville area of Lowell, passed away at the Lakeview House Nursing Home in Haverhill on Saturday, August 10, 2013, following an extended illness.
Born in Lowell on July 14, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles J. Quigley and the late Ann T. (Pollock) Quigley.
Charles was raised in Lowell, attended Lowell Schools and graduated from Lowell High School.
Following graduation, he attended Lowell Tech, where he received his degree in Criminal Justice.
He was an avid sports fan and a dedicated follower of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeview House Nursing Home and in particular Dale Gordon for the extraordinary care he received during his illness.
Charles is survived by two sisters, Carol A. Nelson and her husband Arnold of Tewksbury, and Pamela J. Page and her husband Leo of Gilbert, AZ; three brothers, Donald E. Quigley and his wife Dorothy of Windham, NH, David M. Quigley of Dracut and Robert R. Quigley of Murray, UT; also several nieces and nephews.
Charles was the brother of the late Donna M. Quigley and Mary G. Tellier and brother-in-law of the late JoAnn (Pyrcz) Quigley.
At the request of the family services were held privately. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
