Jean (Barile) Vella passed away on August 14, 2013. She was 74 years old.
Jean was a longtime resident of Malden and formerly of East Boston.
Jean was the devoted wife of the late Lewis Vella. She was the beloved mother of Joseph Vella of North Reading and his late wife Maria, Robert Vella and his wife Donna of Saugus, Joanne Pesce of Malden and the late John Vella. Jean was the sister of Norma Mastandrea and the late Frederick Barile. She was the cherished grandmother of Jason and Christopher Vella and Brianna Pesce.
The funeral will be held from the A.J.Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday August 20th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church 770 Salem Street, Malden at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday August 19th from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
