Caesar M. "Little Caesar" Ramos, Sr., 92, of New Bedford died August 14, 2013 at Brandon Woods after a long illness.
He was the husband of BettyAnn (Jaspar) Ramos.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Manuel J. and Carolina (Santos) Ramos, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. Ramos was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
He was the proprietor of C&C Sales and Appliances with his late son and prior to that he was employed as a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife; 2 sons, Joseph Ramos and his wife Janet of Florida and George Ramos of New Bedford; 2 daughters, Robin Ramos Andrade and her husband Kenneth of San Antonio, TX and Carolina Santos of New Bedford; a brother, Raymond Ramos of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Mary Soares and Dorothy Gomes, both of New Bedford and Elizabeth Burgo of Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Caesar M. Ramos, Jr. and the brother of the late Joseph Ramos, Kathleen Lopes, John Ramos, Manuel Ramos and Louis Ramos.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 23rd at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Visiting hours are omitted.
