Loving brother of Donna L. Acone of Winthrop. Cherished uncle of Paul, Cameron & Stephen. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Interment in Winthrop Cemetery,old section. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday, August 16th from 4-8 PM. Steve was a former Auxiliary Police Sergeant Winthrop P.D., former Sergeant with Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department for 9 years, Police Officer with the Winthrop Police Department for 22 years, with 27 years in law enforcement.
