James Winston Armistead, II of Natick died suddenly on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Norwood Hospital. He was only 54 years old.
Born in Tempe, Arizona on June 16, 1959, he was the son of Joan (Ried) Armistead & the late James Winston Armistead. He was a United States Marine and served our country proudly during the Granada War and moved to Natick to open the Home Depot Store of Natick and had lived here ever since.
He also worked for the Roche Brothers Grocery Store of Natick and prior to that worked in construction and for the Caterpillar Corporation.
Winston had a great sense of humor and a contagious smile. He enjoyed cars, off road trips, the American Choppers television show, collecting Hot Wheel Cars, all Arizona sports teams, the Boston Bruins and was a big movie buff.
Mr. Armistead was the loving father of Winston Armistead & his wife Joanna of Natick & Chason Armistead & his girlfriend Krisztina Serfozo, also of Natick. Caring brother of Cindy Bernard of AZ and the former husband of Cheryl Ann (Collins) McGill of Arizona.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours on Sunday, August 18th from 2:00-5:00PM in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St., at Natick Common.
