Obituary

– Mrs. Hannah J. Rundlett, 95 of Middleton, beloved wife of the late Wilbur C. Rundlett, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, August 13th 2013.

Born in Dover, New Hampshire and raised in Middleton, she was the daughter of late William T. and Hannah J. (Kitchin) Martin. She was educated at the Howe-Manning School of Middleton and continued her education graduating from the former Holton High School.

Mrs. Rundlett had been employed as a bookkeeper by Elliot Fuel of Topsfield and the former Boston Blacking of Middleton. Hannah was an instrumental part of the family company, Martin-Rundlett Lumberland, where she attended to the books for many years until the time of her retirement.

Hannah will be remembered for her love of quilting and as an accomplished seamstress. She made quilts and doll clothes and shared her hobbies with her family and friends. She was a member of the Doll Club in Lynnfield. Hannah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister who will be deeply missed.

Hannah is survived by her daughter Hannah J. Sayer and her husband Stephen of Monroe, NY, her son, Webb Rundlett of Middleton, her grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher and Laurie Rundlett and Jenny and Brad Sayer and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother-in-law to the late Vikki Rundlett and sister to her late siblings Catherine, William and James.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers, Friday, August 16th, from 2 to 4 P.M. All other services are private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Hannah’s memory to the Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
