Charles Alton "Charlie" Hatchel, 67 of Fishers, died August 13, 2013 at his residence.
He was born December 1, 1945 in Cape Girardeau, MO to Rev. John Lewis and Sylvia (Jackson) Hatchel.
He was a pharmaceutical sales representative for Schering-Plough in Indianapolis for 30 years before retiring in 2009. He was a member of Church at the Crossing; avid golfer, he loved being a grandpa and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Diana (Coffman) Hatchel of Fishers, whom he married August 20, 1966 in Kettering, Ohio; his son, Steve (Natalie) Hatchel and his daughter, Jenny (Tal) Kirkwood all of Fishers; sister, Brenda (Bill) Maurer of Ocean City, NJ; brother-in-law: Bob (Vivian) Coffman of Anderson; six grandchildren Kaleigh Hatchel; Logan Hatchel; Anna Hatchel; Jack Kirkwood; Maggie Kirkwood; Charlie Kirkwood several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Nola Sue Probst.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Church at the Crossing 9111 Haverstick Road; Indianapolis, IN 46240.
Burial will be approximately 3:30 P.M. Saturday at East Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson.
Visitation will be Saturday for two hours prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to Anderson University (Church at the Crossing Matching Scholarship Fund).
