Lauretta M. Hayden of Hingham formerly of Scituate born June 15, 1935 peacefully went to rest August 9, 2013. She leaves her four children, the loves of her life her and their spouses: Gerard M. Hayden, Jr., and Martha of Nashville, TN, Cynthia H. Kempner and James L. of New York, NY, Gregg D. Hayden and Dana S. of Purchase, NY and, Beverly A. Canavan and David S. of Wayland, MA. Her 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter were her pride and joy. Lauretta loved the outdoors and the South Shore and in earlier years, playing golf and she cherished her outings with the “Moonies”, her close group of Hingham friends. She was an avid sports fan, particularly her Boston Red Sox, which she followed since her childhood. Funeral services will be private to the family.
