Josephine V. Kurker, age 74, a life long resident of Medford, passed away September 2nd at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Khoury Kurker. Born in Medford she was the daughter of the late Maria (Angelo) and Frank A. Giliberti.
Mrs. Kurker was devoted to her family and loved to attend bingo games with her friends. She worked for many years as a cashier in the caffateria of Matignon High School and prior to that she as a cashier for the Digital Co. Of Burlington. In addition to her late husband and parents, Josephine is preceded in death by two brothers, Pter and Frank Giliberti. She is survived by her daughter Denise A. Kurker of Medford and her son Ralph K. Kurker Jr. also of Medford. She is also survived by her loving granddaughter, Nichole Kurker. Sister of Jennie Rocci, Anna DiGiovanni and Nicholas Giliberti all of Medford.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Tuesday, at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church 512 High St. Medford, at 9 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
