Weitz, Francis Arthur Jr. “Frank” 66, of Eastham formerly from Sagamore Beach and Hingham, died at the Windsor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in S. Yarmouth on August 6. Frank leaves his significant other Linda Podmostka of Eastham, his parents Francis and Rita (Mastrangelo) Weitz of Hingham, his children Christopher and Aubrey Weitz both of Fall River his stepchildren Matthew Mahoney of Halifax and Laura Mahoney of Marshfield. Frank also leaves a brother Charles Weitz of Hanover, a sister Cynthia Wisneski of Norwell and several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Christopher Weitz.
Frank was born in Stoneham and grew up in Hingham and graduated from Hingham High School. He attended Quincy College and Suffolk University. Frank enjoyed golf, racket ball, football (Patriots), and watching the Red Sox. Frank loved the time he spent in Provincetown and Key West.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte 3A) Plymouth (Manomet) on Friday August 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday August 10 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers donations in Frank’s memory may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital Neuro Oncology Department. 55 Fruit St Boston, MA
