Casmir Andrew Wojnar, known to his friends as "Cas" passed away Monday August 5, 2013.
Cas was born January 24, 1922 in Holyoke, Massachusetts and was a Ventura County resident for the past 44 years coming from Nebraska. Cas served 28 years in the U.S. Airforce retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. While in the Air Force he was a navigator - bombardier, Operations support officer, missile officer and missile staff officer.
He flew B47's and B52's in strategic missions in Africa, England and Eastern Europe, While in the Air Force he also graduated from Arkansas Tech with a Bachelors Degree.
He was a member of the retired officers club and a lifetime member of the strategic air command.
After he retired Cas became a real estate agent which he worked at for 20 years being associated with the Pacific Coast Line Realty Company. Cas was also an avid bridge player.
Cas is survived by daughter and son-in-law Betty and Don Krause of Ventura, Brothers Theodore Wojnar of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Steve Wojnar of South Hadley Massachusetts and a sister Carol Osinski of Martha's Vineyard.
A vigil service will be held on Friday August 9, 2013 at 6PM in Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home, Ventura. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11AM Saturday August 10, 2013 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura. Burial with full military honors will follow in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.

Cas was entrusted to the care of the only family owned funeral home in the city of Ventura, JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME 757 E. Main Street Ventura, where family and friends may visit from 5 to 9PM Friday evening
