Gatewood, Paul Edward, 46, of New Albany passed away Tuesday August 6, 2013. Paul was a native of Louisville, Ky. a graduate of Butler High School class of 85 and of Transylvania University. He was a group setup specialist for Humana and a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Gatewood Sr. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Melissa Jean (Maxfield); a son Jonathan Gatewood; his mother, Louise (Harmon) Gatewood; a sister, Anita Ramsey; two brothers, Elmer Gatewood Jr. (Jeannie) & Greg Gatewood (Karen). Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Gilda’s Club.
