Augusta (Maggio) Keown

TEWKSBURY: Augusta (Maggio) Keown, age 83, a resident of Tewksbury for the past 3 years, formerly of Howard Beach, NY, passed away at the Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley in Billerica on Tuesday, August 6, 2013.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Keown,and devoted mother of the late Robert F. Keown, Jr.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John Maggio and the late Josephine (DeLeo) Maggio.
Augusta was raised in Brooklyn, NY, and attended Brooklyn schools.
She is survived by one daughter, Laura Quinn and her husband Brian of Tewksbury; two sisters, Mae Spinazzola of Howard Beach, NY and Lena Romano of Queens, NY; one brother, Samuel Maggio of Brooklyn, NY; three grandchildren, Donna Skane and her husband Douglas of Billerica, Denise Murray of Tewksbury, and Alex Quinn and his wife Erica of Kansas; also many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Augusta was the sister of the late Katherine Boetel.
Calling hours will be Friday, Aug. 9, from 5-8 p.m. in the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
