Aberle, Meghan M., formerly of Marshfield, MA and Washington, DC, passed away suddenly on July 30, 2013. Beloved daughter of Diane (Bandarra) Aberle of Marshfield and the late Brian Aberle. Loving sister of Kathryn Aberle of Waltham and Eric Aberle and his wife Erica of Virginia. Loving aunt of Carson, Samuel and Raegan Aberle. Also survived by her grandparents, several aunts and uncles as well as cousins.
Meghan was a graduate of Marshfield High School, completed her undergraduate studies at American University, and graduate studies at Trinity University, both in Washington, DC. Meghan was an esteemed member of the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity, whose guiding principal is “Leadership, Friendship, and Service”-- three words that best describe her life.
Her focus on service to others led Meghan to work in human resources for the Washington, DC Superior Courts. Her experience and enthusiasm enabled her to secure a position with the State Department as a Human Resource Officer in 2010. Meghan and her beloved puppy, Tessie, traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal; Islamabad, Pakistan; and Bogota, Columbia while in proud service to her country.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christine’s Church, 1295 Main St. on Saturday, August 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
