Pleasant “P.J.” Warren, Jr., 75, of Omega died Monday, August 5, 2013, at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013, in Omega Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Howell will officiate and Billy Wayne Franklin will give a eulogy.
Mr. Warren was born on April 30, 1938 in Nashville and was the son of Pleasant Warren, Sr. and Ruth Warren, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one son and one sister.
Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Bobbie June Warren of Omega; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jay Hawk and Sabrina Warren of Jacksonville, Florida, Joe Paul and Daphne Warren of Mississippi and Robert Lasseter of Omega; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tammy and Felton Norman of Tifton, Hope and Scottie Lowry of Mississippi and Gina McCabe of Colorado; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Lowry of Tifton and Betty Lowry and Grace Warren, both of Mississippi; eight granddaughters; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; a lifelong friend, Roger Pool of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and his special nurse, Mrs. Pearl Lawton.
