GEORGE S. KRALL, SR., age 76, a Hingham resident for over 50 years, died on Tuesday, August 31st at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a long illness.Mr. Krall was born, raised and educated in Windber, Pennsylvania. He served with the United States Army during World War II. He, along with other members of the Krall family, owned and operated the Ye Olde Mill Grille Restaurant at Hingham Harbor for many years. Mr. Krall was active in community affairs, including serving on the Hingham Advisory Board, the South Shore Country Club Committee and also the Hingham Democratic Town Committee.He leaves his wife of 51 years, Barbara A. (Lynch) Krall; a daughter, Susan K. Haley;and a son, George S. Krall, Jr. He was the grandfather of Rebecca and Meredith Haley, and Jordyn and G. Stephan Krall. Brother of Michael G. Krall and Marie Dill.The funeral services and interment are to be private. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request.
