Weymouth – Arne H. Lunden, age 94, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2013. Arne is survived by his wife Ellen (Maimberg) Lunden and his 5 children; Linda and Eugene McIsaac of Braintree, Laine and Edward Cody of Weymouth, Lydia Lunden of Weymouth, Kurt and Donna Lunden of Weymouth, Lisa and Daniel Kelly of Carver, his 10 grandchildren, James, Kerri, Jennifer, Kristen, Katie, Jonathan, Bryan, Alexander, Lauren and Shawn, his 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Arne was born in Sweden in 1919 and raised in Boston before moving to Weymouth in 1948. He served in the US Army and is a veteran of World War 2. Arne was a body shop manager at President Chevrolet in Quincy for 25 years. In his retirement years he worked at Filbottes Auto Salvage and Colorworks in Newton.
Arne mostly enjoyed spending time with his family but also enjoyed square dancing, bowling, Red Sox baseball, Patriots football, Mass State Lottery and working with his hands.
