Diane K. Guaraldi Pimental, 72, passed away at home with her family at her side on August 1. Wife of the late Francis Pimental and daughter of the late Elda Guaraldi Fowler. She leaves her children Kim Diodato and her husband Joseph of Plymouth, Michael of Oak Hill, FL; Dennis of Plymouth and Lynne Pimental of Plymouth. Sister of Paul Fowler of Tewksbury, Francis Fowler of Plymouth and Mary Guaraldi Rondeau of Plymouth. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, Brooke O’Brien, Nicholas Diodato, Cassandre Pimental, Bailey Pimental, Brieanne Pimental, Cameron Pimental, Dennis Pimental Jr., 1 great grandchild, Nicholas Rodman Diadato Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
Diane was born in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High School Class of ’59. She graduated from Bridgewater State College with a Masters Degree in Education. Diane worked as a school teacher for the Plymouth Public School System for 37 years. She was a member and the Treasurer of Delta Kappa Gamma. Diane was enthusiastic about being an active member of many organizations including the Red Hats and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. Additionally she volunteered for the Council on Aging, the Plymouth Public Library, and worked as an Election Poll Worker. Diane will always be remembered for sharing her loving home with many.
Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, August 5th at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road (Rte 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish on Tuesday, August 6th at 11:30 AM leaving from the funeral home at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers donation in Diane’s memory may be made to The American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St, W. Bridgewater, MA 02379. Burial will be Private.
