Kathleen M. Thompson, 61, of Windham, NH passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at her home. She was born on July 28, 1952 in Hackensack, NJ, a daughter of the late Ralph D. and Margaret (Fitzgerald) Morgan, Jr. Kate attended Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania. She worked for Cyber Comm for just over 30 years. She enjoyed sports, listening to music and spending summers at the Cape. Kate most of all loved the time spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Marshall R. Thompson Jr.; one daughter, Brein N. Matturro and her husband Vinnie; two grandchildren, Grady and Bodhi; two sisters, Suzanne Carton and Nancy Serpa; two step-sons, Marshall R. Thompson III and Derek J. Thompson; one step-daughter, Kelli Ann Harrigan; and three step-grandchildren, Marshall, Jacob and Zachary. She was predeceased by one sister Jane M. Bolan.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 4 – 6 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 5th at 10:00 am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kate’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
