Irene T. (Burkett) White, age 93, passed away on Tuesday July 30, 2013 at the Weymouth Health Care Center. Irene was the wife of the late Morrill White and is survived by her nieces and nephews, David Vincent and his wife Catherine of Weymouth, Janice Vincent of Braintree and Catherine Houghton and Robert Houghton both of Florida. She is predeceased by her sisters, Rita Vincent formerly of Braintree, Marie Houghton formerly of FL and Helena Baker formerly of Weymouth.
Irene was born in South Boston and has lived in Weymouth since she was 12 years old. She was a Clerk for Massachusetts Electric for over 40 years.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington St. Weymouth Landing on Monday August 5 at 9:30 AM.
