Alfred F. Harwood Jr., age 74 of Salem, NH, died peacefully Tuesday surrounded by his family.
He was born in Lynn, MA, where he grew up and attended schools, and graduated from Lynn English High School, where he was inducted in the Hall of Fame for hockey. He was a resident of Salem for the past 48 years.
Al was a retired truck driver for Kealey Farms in Salem, NH. He enjoyed bowling, hockey, and NASCAR. Most of all Al loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his long time companion Donna Hill of Salem, NH

Calling hours will be held Friday, Aug. 2nd from 4-7 PM, followed by a service at 7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Cremation will follow.
