Handy, Robert N. of Pembroke, former longtime resident of Marshfield, passed away suddenly on July 29, 2013 at the age of 61. He was the son of the late Albert and Anne (Lawrence) Handy. Brother of Jill Handy of Quincy, and Karen Steele and her husband Michael of Pembroke. Also survived by his aunts Madeline Farrar of Norwell and Judy Pearl of Marshfield and loving uncle to Brian Tribuna of Hoboken, NJ, and Donald Handy of Rockland. A friend of many, Bob was a liquor salesman in the area. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1969 and also attended Suffolk University. An avid golfer Bob also loved the beach.
Visiting hours at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street Rte 139 in Marshfield, Thursday August 1 from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday August 2 at the Funeral Home at 10:00 am.
Interment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Marshfield, MA.
