Joseph S. Kowalczyk, 83 of Cumberland, RI, passed away July 30, 2013, at the RI Veteran’s Home. He was the loving son of the late Joseph and Mary (Holland) Kowalczyk. Prior to retiring, Joe was part owner of the Central Sheet Metal Co. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Joseph was the brother of Veronica Lambert; uncle of Coleen Medeiros, Mark and Kathy Lambert and the late Michael Lambert. He also leaves behind several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was also predeceased by the love of his life Bertha Laprade.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on FRIDAY 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Church, Tiverton, RI at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
