Obituary

Rose Elizabeth Hastings Robert, 14, of Deerfield, passed suddenly on 27 July 2013.

She was born 21 October 1998 to Mariane (Hastings) and Ernest Robert Jr. She had recently graduated from Deerfield Community School as her class president. She was a member of the school's cross country and track teams and an enthusiastic participant of the performing arts. She also performed with the Concord Chorale.

Rose was very creative and loved to learn. She was well known for being especially interested in her Irish heritage. She also very much enjoyed playing the piano and singing. But her greatest passion was spending time with her family and friends.

Her greatest talent was spreading love and joy to everyone and anyone around her. She was a devoted friend, daughter and sister. Her sense of humor and ability to see the best in every situation allowed her to live her life to the absolute fullest. She was a pure soul who loved completely and totally without trepidation.

Members of her immediate family are her parents, Mariane and Ernest Robert Jr. and her siblings Liza, Atticus and Anna Robert. She was also surrounded by a large extended family. Paternally her family includes her grandmother, Jeanine Robert of Manchester, Lucie Duhaime and Denise Robert both of Manchester, Francoise Elise of Back Bay, MA, Thomas and Judy Robert and Peter Robert all of Manchester, Martin and Aileen Robert of Barrington, Ann-Marie and Andy Baker of Stratham, David and Kendra Robert of Manchester, John and Dani Robert of Norwalk, CT, Joseph and Kristen Robert of Manchester, Chuck and Pamela Robert of Bedford as well as 19 cousins. Maternally they include her grandfather, John Hastings of Bedford, Christopher Hastings of Concord, June Jennings Hastings of Manchester, John Michael Hastings and Martha Winston of Waban, MA, Lisa Hastings and Thomas Akin of West Roxbury, MA, Kevin Hastings and his wife, Christina Reiss, of Essex Junction, VT, Paul Hastings and John Murphy of West Roxbury, MA, Kathrine and Paul Cecere of Chelsea, MA, Joseph Hastings of Seattle, WA and nine cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, August 2, 2013 at St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn.
