Delores (Tavares) Raposa, 75 of Fall River, passed away July 27, 2013 after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Helen (Arruda) Tavares and the life long partner of the late Antone Cabral. Prior to retiring, Delores worked in the Textile Industry as a Trimmer/Bagger. She was a member of the Master Builder Ministries in Fall River and loved pets, especially her dog, Snoopy and cat, Sampson.
She is survived by her children: John Tavares, wife Maureen Tavares, Ronald Tavares, girlfriend Lisa Oliver of Fall River, and Donald Tavares, fiancée Natercia Furtado of Fall River; grandchildren: Chad Tavares, wife Sara Tavares, Ryan Travis, Ashley Rodrigues, husband Christopher Rodrigues, Alicia, Joel, & Dylan Tavares; nephew: Robert Berube; niece: Anne Marie Berube. Delores was predeceased by all of her siblings.
