Roland J. Therrien, 83, resident of Lawrence, died on Friday, July 26, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on June 5, 1930 in Hartford Connecticut to Joseph and Rose (St. Aubin) Therrien. Educated in Hartford local schools. He worked as a Machine Operator for the Lawrence Spool Bobbin Company until his retirement. He was a collector of Chinese artifacts for many years. Mr. Therrien loved to spend time with his family especially during camping trips to Salisbury Beach.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Irene M. (Dragon) and is also survived by his children Dennis Therrien, Michael Therrien both of Lawrence, Ronald Therrien and his wife Lynda of Derry, New Hampshire, William Therrien, and Randy Therrien both of Lawrence. As well as 5 grand children and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA.
