Patricia J. (Regis) Loveridge, 66, of New Bedford died July 27, 2013 peacefully surrounded by her family after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late David A. Loveridge.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Carmelo and Mary (Finni) Regis, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Loveridge was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary's Church in New Bedford.
She was employed as a teacher at St. Mary's School in New Bedford for over 20 years until her retirement. Mrs. Loveridge also ran her late husband's business, Dave Loveridge Plumbing and Heating.
She was happiest when spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, David A. Loveridge, Jr. and his wife Kerrie of The Woodlands, TX; 2 daughters, Katie Ferreira and her husband Ruy of Lakeville and Jill Loveridge of East Sandwich; 3 grandchildren, Sam Ferreira, Olivia Ferreira and Sydnie Loveridge; a cousin, John J. Finni of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews.
She was the cousin of the late Charles Pelletier.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, July 31st at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church in New Bedford at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, July 30th from 4-8 PM.
