Norma R. (Tanzilli) Garcia-Pagliarulo, 83, a long time resident of Hudson, died on Friday, July 26th at Wingate Healthcare in Sudbury. She was the wife of 25 years to the late Luciano J. Pagliarulo who died in 2010 and was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph C. Garcia in 1978.
Norma was born and raised in Somerville, daughter of the late Thomas and Esther Tanzilli. She resided in Hudson for many years and was employed as an assembler for the Digital Equipment Corp. for many years until retiring in 1985. She worked for the Raytheon Co. prior to Digital. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Michael Garcia and his wife Joanne of Quincy; her daughter, Sandra Ann McMullen and her husband Robert of Northboro and seven loving grandchildren, Matthew and Drew Garcia, Ryan, Lyndsey and Cortney McMullen and Ryan and Adam Catarius. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 30th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will be held privately in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson at a later date. A calling hour will be held from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. prior to the mass on Tuesday, July 30th at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
