Norman "Lamar" Wilson, Jr., 58, of Tifton died Friday, July 26, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Westview Cemetery in Moultrie. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with burial to follow. Scott Bradford, Patrick Davies, Jimmy Cox, Rob Coleman, Chris Wilson and Billy Britt will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Wilson was born on February 9, 1955 in Tifton and was the son of Norman Lamar Wilson, Sr. and Kathleen Williams Wilson Little, both deceased. He was retired as a heavy equipment operator and was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He loved his dogs, Dixon, Sissy and Tag.
Mr. Wilson is survived by one son, Chris Wilson of Ashburn; one daughter, Britt Wilson of Cordele; one sister, Pamela Wilson of Tifton; and one granddaughter, Kryslyn Wilson.
