Betsy P. (Butler) Nugent, 70, of 111 Hamilton St. died Monday(March11) at home after an illness.
Her husband Allen N. Nugent died in 1991. She leaves a son, Michael D. Nugent of Sturbridge, a daughter, Cynthia L. Nugent of Worcester, a brother, David P. Raphael of West Boylston, two grandchildren, Erica Nugent and Michael Nugent both of Sturbridge, her step-father Saul Raphael of Worcester. A Sister Cynthia Goodwin of Worcester died last year. She was born in Worcester daughter of Raymond and Florence (Phillips) Butler. She graduated from Commerce High School.
She worked for various Worcester Area Car Dealerships retiring several years ago.
She was a member of Saint John's Church.
A Funeral will be held Thursday (March14) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint John's Church 40 Temple St. Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery. Calling Hours are Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Saint John's Church 40 Temple St. Worcester 01604.
