Obituary

ROBERT A. LINCOLN, of Halifax, passed away on Saturday, July 20th, 2013 at the age of 81. He was born in Weymouth on Feb. 14, 1932 and attended Weymouth schools and was president of the Agricultural Club in high school. For many years he was a salesman for McManus Ice Cream of Quincy before opening his own business, South Shore Restaurant Equipment in Hanover, which he operated for over 20 years. He lived in Hanover for 40 years before moving to Halifax after retiring. At the time of his passing he was residing at Colony House in Abington where he was president of the Resident Council. Bob had many hobbies he enjoyed with family and friends including; boating on his "Bob-O-Link", gardening, bowling, gambling and he especially loved all animals and birds. Bob was a member of Wollaston Masonic Lodge in Quincy and Phoenix Masonic Lodge in Hanover and was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.

Bob was the husband of the late Priscilla C. (Connell) Lincoln and father of; Donald E. Lincoln and his wife Susan of Plymouth, Denise Williamson and her husband Parker of Halifax and Robin Abraham and her husband Marc of Kingston. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services Wednesday, July 24th at 10 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Tuesday, July 23rd from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory would be appreciated to Massachusetts Humane Society, Inc., P.O. Box 890127, 87 Wharf St., E. Weymouth, MA 02189.

Interment in Hanover Center Cemetery, Hanover.
