Florence J. (Fradette) Hajj, 86, of Andover passed away peacefully Friday, surrounded by her loving family.
Florence was born in Franklin, N.H., and was the daughter of the late Francis X. and Lillian (Churas) Fradette, and wife of the late George C. Hajj. She was raised in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Florence was a real estate broker in Methuen for many years, sang in the church choir at St. Anthony Maronite Church, and in her free time, enjoyed cooking and crocheting, but most of all spending time with her family.
Florence is survived by six children, John C. Hajj and his wife, Pamela, of Hampton, N.H., Steven R. Hajj and his wife, Rosemarie, of Port Richey, Fla., Jeanne M. Dennis and her husband, Jeffrey, of Andover, George C. Hajj Jr. and his wife, Paula, of Salem, N.H., Lisa M. Brouillard and her husband, Michael, of Salem, Lynne A. Hajj and her life partner, Mary Dooley, of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Irene Vignault of Salisbury, and Dolores Sullivan and her husband, Francis, of Cape Coral, Fla.; her brother, Robert and his wife, Marion, of Andover; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by four siblings, Frances Custeau, Raymond Fradette, Arthur Fradette, and Helen Broach.
Relatives and friend may call Tuesday, July 23, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, July 24, at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony Maronite Church in Lawrence, with burial to follow at St Anthony’s Cemetery, Methuen.
