KIEFER, Raymond Nicholas, 89, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013.
He retired from LG&E and served in World War II with the Marine Corp 1st Marine Division.
Mr. Kiefer was preceded in death by his wife, Sally (Bratcher) Kiefer; sons, Master Sergeant Tim Kiefer and Rob Kiefer; sisters, Fay Foster and LaVerne Ruth; and brother, Walt Kiefer.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Cockerel (Jim); his grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Willen and Wease Snipp; and nieces and nephews.
His service will be 12pm Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Sunday 4-7pm at the funeral home.
