Robert Freeman Rone, 67, formerly of Louisville passed away at his home in Cibolo, Texas Monday, July 15, 2013. He was a self employed manufacturer , an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and Baptist by faith. He is preceded in death by his parents; James Ishmael and Reldie Rone; brother, James A. Rone and sisters, Loelita R. (Hartlage) Hawk and Juanita Rone. He is survived by his life partner and soul mate of 44 years, Robert C. Vest; sisters, Benita (Rone) Crockett and Ida J. (Rone) Becker; sisters-in-law, Delores June Rone and Airetta D. Rone. Eleven nieces and nephews. His funeral will be 12pm Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Forest Grove Cemetery in Bordon, Indiana. Visitation will be 1pm to 8pm Friday and after 10am on Saturday.
