Albert H. Ralph, 97 a former resident of Salem, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Marion (Deschene) Ralph, with whom he had shared 67 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Albert H. and Grace (Lyne) Ralph. As a young man, Al first worked for the A & P food chain in Lynn. For most of his career he worked as a lathe operator for General Electric in the Air Craft Turbine Engine Division. He was a member of Local 201 I.U.E.
He is survived by a son, Alan S. Ralph and his wife Mary of Tuxedo, NY, a daughter, Donna A. Millette of Bedford, a sister, Jean Gentile of Lynn, and his loving grand-daughter Melissa Lynch and her husband Tom of Pepperell. He also leaves 3 great-grandchildren, TJ, Sean and Matthew as well as his devoted caretaker, Lisa Pinheiro.
