Jonas Ezequiel Torres-Cora, 7, a resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 at the Children's Hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving family.
Born December 8, 2005 in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Jonas came to Lawrence in 2007. He had just finished his first grade year at El Shadai Christian Academy in Salem, New Hampshire. Jonas received an award for being the most polite in his class.
Jonas is survived by his parents: Felix Torres and Sonia Cora, as well as his brother: Felix Yamuel Torres. He is also survived by his Paternal grandparents: Noelia Nieves and Eduardo Rosario of Puerto Rico, his Maternal grandparents: Domingo "Mike" Cora and Hilda DeJesus also of Puerto Rico. Jonas is also survived by a large extended family.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 21st, 2013 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., and Monday, July 22nd, 2013 from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts.
