Tyminski, Elizabeth B. of Cohasset, formerly of Mashpee, passed away on May 31, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Lt. Colonel Edward F. Tyminski USAF. Loving mother of Colonel, William Tyminski, U.S. Army Retired and his wife Barbara Tyminski of Marshfield. Dear sister of the late Mary Mayer and sister in law of the late Arthur Mayer. Loving aunt of Mary Bride Hennelly of Norfolk, VA and Elizabeth Puzziferri of Ossining, NY. Elizabeth served in Mexico, Uruguay, Congo, India and Iran with the U.S. State Dept. She was a Red Cross volunteer with US Forces in South Korea. Elizabeth was a member of the Otis Civilian Advisory Committee, the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 5489 in Mashpee and was an elected planning board member in Mashpee. Elizabeth also loved to travel and after retirement visited China, Egypt and Ireland.
Funeral Mass with be at 2:45 PM, July 24, 2013 in the Ft. Myer Memorial Chapel, Ft. Myer, VA followed by interment with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery.
